Dallas, we’re here for you. We want you to know that even in these uncertain times, Carter Eye Center’s commitment to the many communities and families we serve is as strong as ever. This is where our Carter Cares Advantage shines.
Below are featured some of the services we are continuing to offer during these trying times as well as some new services we can offer to you remotely. At Carter Eye Center, we are committed to continuing to make strides in providing for our patients in the safest way possible.
Ocular Emergencies
Our office remains open and is fully equipped and prepared to serve your ocular emergencies. Eye emergencies can include cuts, scratches, objects in the eye, burns, chemical exposure, and blunt injuries to the eye or eyelid. Additionally, certain eye infections and other medical conditions, such as blood clots or glaucoma, may also need medical care right away.
To ensure a safe visit for you and for our team members, we have implemented the following measures:
- You will be required to wash your hands upon entering our facility.
- To practice CDC-recommended social distancing, we may ask you to wait in a separate area or in your car until it is time for your appointment.
- Only one visitor per patient will be allowed in exam lanes.
- Please limit physical contact and refrain from handshaking.
Introducing Live Chat Services
Being available and accessible to our patients, especially during these uncertain times, is important to us. To aid in that, we’ve invested in simple-to-use Live Chat services. Think you may have an eye infection? Experiencing unexplained visual disturbances? We’re here for you.
Simply click on the Live Chat button on the far right of your screen. Type in your question or concern to connect with a Carter Eye Center team member. Even if we’re offline, you can still type your message. A team member will get back to you as soon as we’re back online.
Virtual Consultations
To address ongoing patient needs during this time, we are offering virtual consultations through our partner MD Prospects. Virtual consultations are available via phone call, Skype or FaceTime.
